Burundi – Gaharo Hill

Nestled in the hills of northern Burundi, the Bukeye Washing Station is owned by Long Miles Coffee, a farmer-driven initiative dedicated to producing exceptional, traceable coffees while supporting smallholder farmers. Built at the foot of Gaharo Hill, the station continues to receive cherries from the same local farming families, preserving a tradition of quality and community with every harvest.

This lot is a naturally processed Red Bourbon, selected from the 2026 Burundi LMCP Auction. Renowned for its exceptional sweetness and silky body, Red Bourbon offers notes of caramel, chocolate, and ripe red fruits. Grown at high altitude in Burundi’s rich volcanic soils, this classic variety produces a beautifully balanced cup, equally suited to espresso and filter brewing.
