Guatemala – La Morena

This fully washed coffee is supremely clean and sweet. Citrus notes of lime emerge when you stir and come close to smell it.  Flavour is delicate and sweet like milk chocolate. The finish to it is that of a rich hazelnut.

In an industry that has long been male dominated comes this project to make a dent in history. 22 female smallholders in the Huehuetenango region have joined together in an all-female collaboration promoting gender equality. The coffee they produce is nothing short of excellent. Bourbon, Catuai and Caturra varietals grown at 1600 metres above sea level.
