Guatemala – La Morena, Espresso

In an industry that has long been male dominated comes this project to make a dent in history. 22 female smallholders in the Huehuetenango region have joined together in an all-female collaboration promoting gender equality. The coffee they produce is nothing short of excellent. Bourbon, Catuai and Caturra varietals grown at 1600 metres above sea level. This fully washed coffee is supremely clean and sweet. Notes of coffee blossom, stone fruits and milk chocolate.
